 Get set for ‘bitchin’ guitars, rockin’ rhythms and steamin’ harmonica…blues rock is alive and kicking…and the Agents of Peace are serving it up smokin’ hot! Agents of Peace are a truly unique Australian band being the only band in this country featuring members spanning three generations (gen y, gen x and baby boomers). Rob and Grant are veterans of over 3,000 live shows and countless albums with walls of platinum and gold awards, having toured and recorded internationally for many years. Merewether Fats is a ‘national treasure’ on harmonica; a true purest for blues harp, he is revered by many harp blowers. Allon and Baby Legs provide the younger injection and perspective, and yet are real masters of the bass and guitar after countless gigs from an early age playing under-age in blues and rock pubs around Australia.  It's been a while but we wanted to let you know that we've been very busy and have even added a drummer to the band…for the first time! And what a drummer …Rob Grosser is one of Australia's true legends playing with Jon Lords and Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osborne), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter), Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo), and our own Jimmy Barnes…wow, serious company or what! We are in the middle of recording brand new material for our new album (due out in 2012) but we are doing just a handful of shows around the state this month. Our only Newcastle show is the 31st of December …New Years Eve…and we thought we do something special and have a party with all of our friends from over the past 5 years.
